Server statistics automatically save data that is transmitted to us via your browser, in order to enable you to visit our website (so called logfiles).

In particular this involves the following data:

  • Operating system used and its interface 
  • Referrer URL (previously visited site) 
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address) 
  • Date and time of the server enquiry 
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) 
  • Content of the request (specific website page) 
  • Quantity of data transmitted 
  • Access status/HTTP status code. 

As a rule the data cannot be used to identify specific individuals, nor will it be merged with any other data sources. Moreover, the data is deleted within two weeks following statistical analysis. 

We use this data solely for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating and optimizing our internet presence and making our website safe and secure.

Other personal data on using the website 

The personal data that you make available to us, such as name, postal or email address, will be used only internally for the purpose of answering your enquiries, processing your orders or giving you access to specific information. 

When contacting us by email or via our contact form, we store your details in order to answer your queries. By dispatching the contact form you agree to our using your details so as to reply to your request or make contact with you. Your details will not be made available to third parties, unless this is justified and necessary on account of the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data or we are required by law to do so. You may revoke this given consent at any time with effect for the future. Should you revoke your consent, your personal data will be deleted immediately. Otherwise we will delete your personal details as soon as we have processed your enquiry or the purpose of storage ceases to apply. 

Transfer of data to third parties; change in purpose 

Data is passed on to third parties only if it is necessary in order to fulfil the contract and/or if in individual cases we are legally required to do so. 

In some cases we use external service providers to process your data. Should these service providers have their domicile or registered place of business in the USA, we will communicate this to you in connection with the respective function. 

Should your data be used for other purposes, we will inform you beforehand and only use the data, provided that you have given your prior express consent to do so.
